YMCA Building
The original YMCA building on Aungier Street had facilities such as a crèche, gym, sports hall, counselling and meeting areas as well as a library all of which where to remain fully operational until we had sections of the new building complete and could relocate them all with minimal interruption. The bulk of the new build was 54 self catering monitored bed sits for juvenile rehabilitation candidates. The project had its own set of obstacles as we had to tie all our additional services into existing buildings which where occupied throughout the contract without creating disturbance to YMCA staff and clients.
